Stated Income Loans Coming Back!

See the email I just received from my mortgage broker below...

I can now do "stated income" loans.
Here are the primary guidelines:
Loan amount must be between 418,000 and 1,500,000.
Borrower must be self-employed.
40% down required.
Great rates.
I know the down payment can be tough, but at least we have this product back. This is a sign of good things to come!!!
Thank you,

No More GMAC

Heard from a reputable source that Pacific Union is spitting out GMAC in about 2 months... Apparently, the new owners (McLaughlins) had to keep the GMAC name on some of their marketing initially.

I will be so happy to see GMAC go away - Pacific Union was never meant to be led by a huge corporation...

San Francisco ranked America's 25th Safest City

Honestly, this really isn't good news for San Francisco - I have to say it's probably true - When I was in New York a month ago walking around late at night I felt much safer than I do walking around San Francisco late at night... Our cops need to actually get out of their cars and patrol the streets...

Recycled Leather Flooring?!

This was a first for me - I had never heard of leather flooring until I came upon it while touring an ultra modern TIC in Russian Hill (SF) today... Definitely warmer than wood, but how do you keep it clean??

Is Pacific Union still GMAC?

Some of the new Pacific Union logos say GMAC and others dont - I'm confused - Can anyone answer?? And if they are still GMAC, why??? I thought the GMAC affiliation was long gone...

EARN Annual Breakfast

If you aren't familiar with EARN, it's an amazing organization based out of San Francisco, that helps low wage workers achieve their dreams of pursuing an education, starting a small business or buying a home.

I'm involved with the Real Estate Auxiliary, which involves the local real estate community in EARN's efforts to help these people buy homes - The welcome home breakfast on December 4th at the beautiful Westin St. Francis is an amazing event that celebrates these efforts - If you would like to come, let me know!

Click here for the event details.

Blackberry

It's official - I'm sick of my blackberry - It freezes when I most need it to work, the web browsing is horrible, the video quality is awful... The blackberry is no longer high tech - Time to go Android!

Old Fashioned Brokers Tour

In Novato, California we have a meeting every Wednesday morning before brokers tour. Every agent who has a listing MUST attend and announce their property or it is removed from the tour.

This weekly meeting is an old tradition that only the older set of Realtors seems to enjoy - Is there really a point to meeting if all the information is available online?
